Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor Dr. Z. P. Patel presided over the inaugural function of the workshop on 'National Agricultural Research and Education System-Blended Learning Platform (NARES-BLP)' jointly organised by NAU in collaboration with ICAR-IASRI on September 22, 2023 at NAU.

Hon'ble VC inspired the participants to understand the importance of blended learning ecosystem with digital initiatives in the field of agricultural education and to get updated for the transformative move.

Guests of honor, Dr. T. R. Ahlawat, Director of Research and Dean PG studies and Dr. H. V. Pandya, Registrar motivated the participants with their gracious presence. Dr. Alka Singh, Dean, Horticulture presented the welcome note.

Dr. Sudeep Marva, Head (CA) and PI-NAHEP Component-2 through online mode and Dr. Anshu Bhardwaj, Principal Scientist and Co-PI-NAHEP Component-2 briefed about the blended learning system. Dr. P. K. Shrivastava, Dean, Forestry; Dr. Ruchira Shukla, Principal, AABMI; department heads of different colleges, along with Mr Aayush Arora, Project Manager, BLP and Mr Tarun, trainer from ICAR-IASRI were also present. 64 faculties from all the eight different colleges of NAU along with 25 PG students interactively participated in the workshop.
