University Student Startup Cell, organized One Day Workshop on “Innovation and Startups in Agriculture” on October 13, 2022 at AABMI, Navsari. This programme was organized under Student Startup Research and Innovation Festival initiated under Student Startup and Innovation Policy (SSIP 2.0) of Education Department (Higher and Technical) SSIP Cell, Gujarat Knowledge Society, Education Department, Government of Gujarat as a part of "Azaadi ka Amrit Mahotsav" celebration. In the workshop 100 UG and PG students from seven constituent colleges of Navsari Agricultural University participated.
Hon’ble Vice Chancellor and president of the inaugural ceremony highlighted the vast opportunities for agriculture entrepreneurship and startups which students must consider as their career option. He emphasized that students need to think creatively and come out with innovative ideas and change their mind set to become job givers and not job seekers.
