All India Coordinated Research Project (Plantation Crops),RHRS, ASPEE College of Horticulture, Navsari Agricultural University, Navsari; Coconut Development Board, Junagadh; Department of Horticulture, GoG, Gandhinagar and Junagadh Agricultural University, Junagadh jointly celebrated World Coconut Day under the theme of uncovering Coconut's Power, Inspiring Global Action' by organizing farmers training programme entitled ‘‘Value Addition in Coconut’’ on September 2, 2025 at Rahij village of Mangrol Tahsil in Junagadh District.

One day orientation programme on “Production technology and value addition in coconut” was conducted on 29th July 2025 at ASPEE College of Horticulture, Navsari Agricultural University, Navsari (Gujarat) were organized by Coconut Development Board, Junagadh with the collaboration of Navsari Agricultural University, Navsari and Dept. of Horticulture, Govt. of Gujarat

Two days orientation programme on "Production Technology and Value Addition in Coconut" was jointly organized by Coconut Development Board, Center-Junagadh, Gujarat State and Navsari Agricultural University, Navsari during 26-27 September, 2024 at ASPEE College of Horticulture, Navsari Agricultural University, Navsari with the gracious presence of Dr. T. R. Ahlawat, Directorate of Research, NAU, Navsari; Dr. H. R. Sharma, Directorate of Extension Education, NAU, Navsari; Mr. Jayakumar S., Marketing Development Officer, CDB, Junagadh; Dr. D. K. Sharma, Professor and Head, Fruit Science and PSMA, ASPEE College of Horticulture, NAU, Navsari; Dr. B. M. Tandel, Research Scientist, Regional Horticultural Research Station, ASPEE College of Horticulture, NAU, Navsari and Dr. Pankaj P. Bhalerao, Project In-charge of AICRP (Palms), ASPEE College of Horticulture, NAU, Navsari. In this programme, 22 officials from Department of Horticulture, GoG, Gandhinagar were selected and participated.
