Dr. R. M. Naik, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, NAU, Navsari, attended the Natural Farming Illustration Workshop organized by Gujarat Natural Farming Science University (GNFSU), Halol on 5th September 2026.

The workshop was graced by the presence of Shri Mehul K. Dave, IAS (Retd.), Secretary to Hon’ble Governor of Gujarat; Dr. V. P. Chovatia, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, JAU, Junagadh; Dr. C. K. Timbadia, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, GNFSU, Halol; and Dr. R. S. Chandel, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, SDAU, Dantiwada.

The Senior Scientist and Head / Project Coordinators of Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVKs) of Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra actively participated in the workshop and gained valuable insights and knowledge on Natural Farming practices and their effective illustration and dissemination.

The workshop provided a valuable platform for knowledge sharing, interaction and strengthening collaborative efforts towards promoting sustainable and natural farming practices for the welfare of farmers and a healthier environment.
