Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Dr. Z. P. Patel, presided over the Kheduth Shibir organized by the Nagdhara Co-operative Society, which focused on enhancing sugarcane and mango cultivation to increase production. The event attracted a large number of farmers eager to improve their practices and boost their incomes.

During the program, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor shared valuable insights on the production and application of biochar, strategies to mitigate the impact of the pyrilla insect on sugarcane crops, and advanced sugarcane production technologies. He highlighted the innovative approaches to enhance yield and promote sustainability in sugarcane farming.

Dr. S. C. Mali, Sugarcane Research Scientist, and Dr. B. M. Tandel, Associate Research Scientist, also contributed their knowledge, underscoring the importance of modern cultivation techniques in uplifting farmers’ incomes.
