Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Dr. Z. P. Patel chaired the first meeting of the Board of Studies for the Faculty of Forestry and commended the faculty members for their dedicated and sincere efforts. He emphasized that, being one of the youngest forestry faculties in the country, it holds immense potential for academic and research excellence.

Hon’ble Vice Chancellor also inaugurated the newly established Laboratory of the Department of Wildlife Sciences and applauded the team of the department for their hard work in developing research and learning facilities. Additionally, he released information booklet of the Department of Wildlife Sciences, showcasing the department’s academic advancements, research initiatives and future prospects.

In his remarks, Hon’ble VC expressed his confidence in the Faculty of Forestry, encouraging them to continue striving for academic growth, research excellence and impactful contributions to forestry education and conservation efforts.
