An ideaMill-2023 was undertaken as a part of the Agricultural Innovation & Entrepreneurship Conclave (AIEC) at NAU Navsari on December 6, 2023 to tap the ideas, innovations on the agricultural sector that boost the students to take up start-ups. The conclave brought together experts and aspirants to explore novel solutions under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Dr. Z. P. Patel.

Dr. T. R. Ahlawat, PI & Nodal officer (CAAST) took up this event and brought the students and experts under single platform for encouraging students to become entrepreneur through this programme sponsored by the ICAR-NAHEP-CAAST project.

Twelve student teams from agriculture, horticulture, forestry, agri-business management and veterinary sciences, presented their ideas and addressed about the emerging challenges at local and national levels through efficient, sustainable technological and managerial interventions. A panel of nine judges from reputed institutions across the country including in-house experts meticulously evaluated these idea presentations on the SARAL web-portal, which is developed by NAHEP-CAAST project operated at NAU-Navsari.

About 400 participants were present in this ideaMill. The winners will receive cash prizes for their outstanding innovative idea presentation in the valedictory programme of this event.
