'Gujarat Inter-University Staff Sports Tournament' was organized by Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat during December 23-25, 2022. Competitions of various sports events viz., Cricket, Table-tennis, Badminton and Chess were held in this tournament wherein NAU Navsari participated in all the sports events along with fifteen state universities of Gujarat.

Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Dr. Z. P. Patel along with Dr. T. R. Ahlawat- DR and Dr. R. M. Naik- DSW congratulated the cricket team on being runners-up after giving a strong fight against VNSGU, Surat in the final. He also appreciated the efforts of all the players, Manager- Dr. V. K. Parmar, and Coach- Dr. B. M. Tandel for this glory to the NAU.
