A training session on financial and information technology operations was held on April 21, 2025 at the Central Examination Hall of Navsari Agricultural University, under the chairmanship of Honorable Vice Chancellor Dr. Z. P. Patel.

The session was intended to provide guidance on various topics to drawing and disbursing officers, as well as officers and staff handling finance and IT-related tasks from university’s units and departments.

Approximately 160+ officers and staff from various units and departments participated in the training. Dr. Bhavesh Chaudhari, Assistant Professor, conducted a session on the university-level IT & E-Waste Policy. Additionally, to ensure effective implementation of the Gujarat state Procurement Policy-2024, guidance was provided by Mr. Chirag Naik (Comptroller and Controlling Officer IT), Dr. Amit Lathia (Planning Officer), Dr. Vipul Sinde (Executive Engineer) and Dr. Mahesh Desai (Assistant Registrar (Admin)).

Mr. Chirag Naik and Mr. Narendra Patel (Treasury Office) also delivered training on various online platforms developed for the efficient management of the university’s financial operations. This training proved to be highly beneficial in streamlining the IT and financial processes within the university.

The event was graced by the presence of Dr. H. M. Virdiya, Registrar of the University and Prof. Jaimin Naik, Director of Student Welfare.
