Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Dr. Z. P. Patel chaired the 17th Planning and Development Committee Meeting organised by the Planning Cell, Directorate of Research, on October 18, 2023. PDC is a Statutory Committee of the University and its meetings are held twice a year.
Dr. T. R. Ahlawat, Director of Research & Dean PGS welcomed all the dignitaries. Dr. Amit Lathiya- Planning Officer, discussed the agenda of the 17th PDC Meeting and briefed regarding the budget of Development Charges (Plan) to be proposed to the Government of Gujarat for FY 2024–25. A review of the university development charges budget was done by respected members of the committee. Detailed discussions regarding new development charges proposals received from various units/ Departments of the university were made in light of the university mandate and requirements of the farming community.
University officers and members of the PDC were present during the meeting.
