Hon'ble Vice Chancellor Dr. Z. P. Patel chaired the 20th AGRESCO meeting of the Agricultural Engineering sub-committee of NAU Navsari on February 21, 2024. The meeting was attended by Dr. T. R. Ahlawat- Director of research; Dr. N. M. Chauhan- Director of Extension Education; Dr. V. R. Naik- ADR; Dr. Lalit Mahatma-ADR; Dr. S. H. Sengar - Dean CAET Dediapada; invited members; Dr. Parag Pandit- Convener and members of Agricultural Engineering sub-committee.

Hon'ble VC, in his presidential address, inspired the team of Agricultural Engineers to work in good team spirit, for the betterment of the farming community and gave novel research ideas specifically for the development of small tools tailored to benefit small and marginal farmers of South Gujarat.

During the meeting, 09 recommendations and 07 new technical programs were approved following thorough discussion & deliberation and 32 on-going technical programs were discussed.

The distinguished members of the sub-committee, namely Dr. N. M. Shah, Dr. J. M. Patel, and Dr. O. U. Vadaviya, who are set to retire this year, were honored by the dignitaries at the end of the meeting. Their impending retirement was marked with a heartfelt felicitation and recognition of their invaluable contributions to their respective fields.
