The 19th Planning and Development Committee (PDC) Meeting of the University was held on May 30, 2025, under the chairmanship of the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Dr. Z. P. Patel. The meeting was organized by the Planning Cell, Directorate of Research. As a statutory body of the University, the PDC convenes biannually to deliberate on key issues related to the University’s development.

Dr. Amit Lathiya, Planning Officer, presented the meeting agenda, with particular emphasis on the budget allocations for Development Charges (Plan) and Standing Charges (Non-Plan) for the financial year 2025–26, as approved by the Government of Gujarat.

Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Dr. Z. P. Patel acknowledged and appreciated the commendable efforts of the Director of Research and the Planning team. He also expressed his sincere gratitude to the Government of Gujarat for approving one new development project and three major construction initiatives for the University.

Dr. T. R. Ahlawat, Director of Research and Dean PGS, emphasized the significance of proactive deliberations for the upcoming budget cycle of 2026–27 to ensure the comprehensive development of the University. He further extended his appreciation to all University officers and PDC members for their active participation and valuable contributions during the meeting. The session concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Mr. Piyush Limbachiya, Assistant Professor, Planning Cell.
