Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Dr. Z. P. Patel presided over the “PM KISAN SAMMAN SAMMELAN 2022” organized by KVK Navsari at Sardar Smriti Kendra on October 17, 2022. Dr. N. M. Chauhan, DEE; Sri. Gamanbhai Patel, Chairman, Vasudhara Dairy, Alipore, Chikhli; Smt. Jagrutiben Desai, Vice President, Vijalpore Nagarpalika were also present on the occasion. 

In the presidential speech Hon’ble Vice Chancellor informed the farmers about bio fertlizers availability in the university, Soil testing labotrotary, Seed unit and their activities and various research achievements and ongoing experiments including recent developments in university.

More than 400 farmers were participated from Navsari District. During the event Hon’ble Vice Chancellor felicitated women farmers who have successfully completed their candle making training earlier this week. 

The event brings together more than 2500 farmers from different KVK’s under NAU Navsari. 15 farmers from Navsari District along with 3 scientists attended the PM’s Agri Startups and  Kisan Samman Sammelan at PUSA Campus, New Delhi today.
