“Bhumi Pujan” for D-type Staff Quarters and Stage for student’s cultural functions to be constructed at College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology, Dediapada
Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Dr. Z. P. Patel and Dr Harshaben Z Patel, Retd Principal, J P Pardiwala Arts and Commerce College, Killa Pardi, Valsad, performed the “Bhumi Pujan” for D-type Staff Quarters and Stage for student’s cultural functions to be constructed at College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology, Dediapada on March 4, 2025. Dr Hemant Sharma, Director of Extension Education; Dr. D. D. Patel, Principal, College of Agriculture, Bharuch; Er. Vipul Shinde, Executive Engineer; Dr H U Vyas, PC, KVK, Dediapada were also present on the occasion. The University authorities were welcomed in the campus by Dr. P. K. Shrivastava, Principal & Dean, CAET, along with Dr Alok Singh, Principal, PAE; Dr S. H. Sengar and other faculty & staff of CAET/PAE, Dediapada Campus.
On this occasion, Hon’ble VC inaugurated the newly constructed entrance gate and declared open the buildings of College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology, Boys Hostel and C & D Type Quarters constructed earlier in the Dediapada Campus. Dignitaries also planted saplings of Bel tree under Ek Pad Maan ke naam along with students of National Service Scheme, NSS volunteers of CAET and PAE and nodal officers Dr Arun Lakkad and Er. Vibhuti Patel. Hon’ble VC also inaugurated the 10-days Drone hands on training programmes organized at CAET campus in collaboration with Vaimanika Aerospace Private Limited.
While interacting with the faculty members, Hon’ble VC emphasized to develop close bonding with the students so that they don’t hesitate to discuss any problems faced by them. He encouraged engineering faculties to go for patent-oriented researchtaking advantage of calm and quite surroundings of the campus.
Dr. P. K. Shrivastava, thanked Hon’ble VC for his support in reviving the unspent grants, additional grant and quick approvals for development of the campus. He also thanked the dignitaries, students and the staff for well-coordinated efforts in organizing the function.
