The 21st AGRESCO meeting of Horticulture sub-committee was inaugurated by Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Z. P. Patel in the presence of Dr. T.R. Ahlawat, DR; Dr. H.R. Sharma, DEE; Dr. Dr. R. M. Naik, Dean, Horticulture, Dr. S. J. Patil, Convener and other members on February 27, 2025.

Hon’ble VC, in his presidential address, emphasized the importance of farmer-oriented research. He appreciated presentation of total 10 release proposal of Fruit (02), Vegetable (03) and Floriculture (05) varieties and 19 farmers’ recommendations with 22 New Technical Programs by faculty members of 5 different departments of the University in 21st AGRESCO Horticulture subcommittee meeting at ASPEE College of Horticulture. He also appreciated the efforts made by the team of FRS, Gandevi for preparing crop calendar of mango, sapota and papaya with primary information.
