Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Dr. T. R. Ahlawat laid the foundation stone and performed the Bhoomi Poojan for the new office building at the newly established Agriculture Research Centre, Vedchha on 16.02.2026. The farm has been acquired from the State Government to undertake various research activities on different agricultural crops including paddy. This new infrastructure will benefit the researchers and staff to effectively carry out agricultural research activities.

The Ceremony was graced by the presence of Prof. Jaimin R. Naik, Director of Students’ Welfare; Dr. V.R. Naik, Associate Director of Research; Dr. P. M. Mistry, Research Scientist, Main Rice Research Centre (MRRC); Dr. Vipul Shinde, Executive Engineer and all the scientists and staff of MRRC.
