The 26th Meeting of the Library Committee of NAU, Navsari, was held on 11 September 2026 under the chairmanship of the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Dr. R. M. Naik.
The Committee deliberated on the procurement of high-quality library resources for the University Library and NAU’s off-campus college libraries. The proposed initiatives aim to strengthen academic, research and extension activities, improve access to information resources and foster a culture of reading among students, faculty and other library users.
Several positive decisions were taken to transform the University Library into a dynamic and vibrant “Knowledge Centre.” Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor outlined important directions for enhancing library services and making them more user-oriented.
The meeting was attended by University Officers, Principal & Deans, Faculty members and the student representatives.
