Directorate of Extension Education is organizing a workshop on ‘Capacity building on new emerging technogies for technical staff of KVKs’ during September 15-17, 2022. The inaugural function of this workshop was held today in the presence of Hon'ble Vice Chancellor Dr. Z. P. Patel as President of function; Dr. T. R. Ahlawat, DR; Dr. P. T. Patel, DEE, SDAU, Sardarkrushinagar; Dr. N. M. Chauhan, DEE, NAU; Dr. R. M. Naik, Principal and Dean, NMCA; university officers and technical staff of KVKs of South Gujarat.
In the presidential address Hon'ble Vice Chancellor emphasized on popularizing the university technologies such as pheroman trap of fruit fly, Novel bio-fertilizer, bio-pesticide, improved varieties etc. He also focused on community group approach which is useful for transfer of technology in root level and end users. Seven scientists of KVKs were felicitated by Hon'ble Vice Chancellor during the program.
