The valedictory function of the 15-day intensive crash workshop for ICAR-AIEEA-PG and other biotechnology-related examinations, organized by the UG-BT-CBC Cell of ASPEE SHAKILAM Biotechnology Institute (ASBI), Surat, and sponsored by the Gujarat State Biotechnology Mission (GSBTM), Gandhinagar, was held at ASBI, NAU, Surat.

The event was graced by the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Dr. Z. P. Patel as the president of the function along with esteemed dignitaries including Dr. T. R. Ahlawat, Director of Research and Dean PGS as Chief Guest; Dr. H. M. Viradia, Registrar as Guest of Honour; Prof. Jaimin Naik, Director of Students’ Welfare as Invited Guest; Dr. Sanjay Jha, Principal and Dean, ASBI, Surat; and Dr. H. D. Bhimani, Coordinator, UG-BT-CBC, ASBI, NAU, Surat.

During the 15-day crash workshop (January 20 – February 3, 2025), more than 50 subject experts delivered insightful lectures, providing 60 aspiring students from Three State Agricultural Universities of Gujarat with comprehensive knowledge and strategies to excel in their competitive examinations.

In his presidential remarks, Hon’ble VC congratulated ASBI, Surat, for consecutively conducting crash course for the second time in State Agricultural Universities (SAUs). He also encouraged the participants to apply their learnings, embrace challenges, and remain dedicated to achieving their academic aspirations.

This initiative marks a significant milestone in NAU’s commitment to foster excellence in higher education and empowering students to achieve their career goals aiming the admission in institutes of national repute.
