Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor congratulated the Head and team of KVK Tapi and KVK Navsari on receiving Best Presentation Award at the Eighth Annual Zonal Workshop of KVKs (Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Goa), organized by ICAR-ATARI, Zone VII, Pune, held at Bhuj, Gujarat, from 20th to 22nd July 2025.

The event was graced by eminent dignitaries, including Dr. Singh, Former Chancellor, Bihar Agricultural University, Bhagalpur; Dr. Kokate, Former Deputy Director General, ICAR, New Delhi; Dr. M. M. Officer, Former Chancellor, BCKV Mohanpur; and Dr. H. R. Sharma, Director of Extension Education, NAU, Navsari.

The valedictory session was attended by Directors from Maharashtra and Gujarat, officials from ICAR, New Delhi, and other distinguished guests. A total of 82 Senior Scientists and Heads from KVKs across Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Goa actively participated in the workshop.

Dr. C. D. Pandya, Senior Scientist and Head, KVK Tapi, and Dr. Sumit Salunkhe, Senior Scientist and Head, KVK Navsari, presented detailed progress reports, farmer-centric initiatives, and highlights of the innovative work being carried out by their respective centers, which earned them this prestigious recognition.
