The 21st AGRESCO meeting of Forestry sub-committee was inaugurated by Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Z. P. Patel in the presence of Dr. T.R. Ahlawat, DR; Dr. H.R. Sharma, DEE; Dr. Lalit Mahatma, ADR; Dr. Minal Tandel, Dean, Forestry and other members on February 19, 2025.

Hon'ble VC, in his presidential address, emphasized the importance of farmer-oriented research. He highlighted the potential of exploring rubber tree farming and encouraged the team at the College of Forestry to pursue this avenue. With his inspiring slogan, “Freedom is our culture, and freedom is our motto,” he urged the team to approach their work with enthusiasm and dedication. He appreciated presentation of total 5+1 farmers recommendations/scientific informations and 19 New Technical Programmes by faculty members of 6 different departments of the College in 21st AGRESCO Forestry subcommittee meeting at College of Forestry.
