Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Dr. Z. P. Patel had fruitful meeting with Dr. Robert Spoonerhart, Scientist, Western Sydney University, Australia on November 5, 2022 during his visit to NAU, Navsari under the MoU between two universities.
They discussed about the impact of climate change on pollination in different crops particularly in mango and future line of research on mango pollinators and pollination in changing climates. They have also discussed on various aspects to promote the pollinator activities and it's conservation in mango orchard. Dr. T. R. Ahlawat, Director of Research; Dr. Abhishek Shukla, Professor and Head, Dept. of Entomology and Dr. L.V. Ghetiya, Associate Professor, Dept. of Entomology were also present.
