Winter is the preferred seasons for the flowering and aromatic plants. Various experiments of flower crops at Floriculture Research Farm of NAU, Navsari are at full bloom and emitting fragrance, mixing in the surrounding atmosphere and tempting visitors from the distance. Dr. S. L. Chawla, Associate Professor presented the tuberose and torch ginger flowers to Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor Dr. Z. P. Patel and discussed about the different field experiments. The area under the tuberose in South Gujarat is increasing rapidly and has become most remunerative and favorite cut flower crop.
