Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Dr. Z. P. Patel along with Dr. Harshaben Patel paid a visit to the farm owned by Shri Jayeshbhai Patel, a revered progressive farmer and recipient of National and State-level awards, situated in Village Bharadia, Taluka-Valia, Dist- Bharuch on November 22, 2023. Dr. Nitinkumar Patel, Professor, Vegetable Science, ASPEE College of Horticulture accompanied him during the visit.
Mr. Jayeshbhai Patel has exemplified unparalleled dedication, cultivating and amassing over 100 distinct varieties of fruit crops on his farm. His remarkable contributions extend to the development and registration of the 'JARVI RED' Guava variety in the PPVFR as a farmer's variety. Furthermore, he is actively engaged in the registration process of another exceptional variety.
