Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Dr. Z. P. Patel chaired the 18th Planning and Development Committee Meeting on April 19, 2024. PDC meeting, organized by the Planning Cell, Directorate of Research, convenes biannually to address the critical matters pertaining to University development.
During the meeting, Dr. Amit Lathiya-Planning Officer, discussed the agenda, notably highlighting the budget allocations for Development Charges (Plan) and Standing Charges (Non-Plan) for the financial year 2024-25, as sanctioned by the Government of Gujarat.
Hon’ble VC commended the efforts of the Director of Research and his Planning team. Further he congratulated project in-charges and extended gratitude to the Government of Gujarat for approving 19 new development projects and a construction initiative for the University.
Dr. T. R. Ahlawat, Director of Research & Dean PGS, emphasized the importance of proactive deliberations for the forthcoming budget cycle of 2025-26 for the holistic advancement of our University and appreciated all PDC members for their active participation and valuable insights during the meeting.
