On Friday, December 5, 2024, the Department of Education, Ministry of Education, Government of Gujarat, unveiled the Gujarat State Institutional Rating Framework (GSIRF-2024). In recognition of its outstanding performance across a broad spectrum of metrics outlined in the framework, Navsari Agricultural University (NAU) was awarded a prestigious five-star rating in the university category. Furthermore, NAU was ranked eighth among 38 universities evaluated in Gujarat and was also recognized as the top state agricultural university in the region. Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Dr. Z. P. Patel extended his heartfelt congratulations to all the faculty members, scientists, and staff of NAU for their collective efforts in achieving this remarkable milestone.

This declaration was made by the Shri Rushikeshbhai Patel, Hon’ble Minister of Health and Family Welfare and Medical Education, Higher and Technical Education, Law, Justice, Legislative and Parliamentary Affairs, Govt. of Gujarat in the presence of Shri Prafulbhai Pansheriya, Hon’ble Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Primary, Secondary and Adult Education, Higher Education; along with senior officials from the Education Department and Vice Chancellors and Registrars from various universities across the state.
