On March 26, 2025, Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Z. P. Patel laid the Foundation Stone for the construction of newly sanctioned Girls’ Hostel and Classroom Building for the College of Forestry. The event was honored by distinguished guests, including Dr. T. R. Ahlawat, Director of Research & Dean of PG Studies; Prof. Jaimin Naik, DSW; Dr. O. P. Sharma, Principal (AABMI); Dr. Lalit Mahatma, ADR; Dr. Vipul Shinde, Executive Engineer; Dr. Minal Tandel, Dean & Principal, Forestry; Faculty and staff members from the College of Forestry, NAU, Navsari.

Hon'ble VC shared his blessings on the occasion and encouraged the College of Forestry faculty to further strengthen the institution through infrastructure development, ensuring high-quality forestry education in Gujarat. He also expressed gratitude to ICAR, New Delhi, for their generous support in funding the Girls' Hostel project.
