International Day of Forests, was celebrated at the College of Forestry, Navsari under the theme ‘Forest and Health’ by organizing various activities for the students of NAU during March 20-21, 2023. The Valedictory function of this event was held in the presence of Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Dr. Z. P. Patel as the President of the function; Shri Anand Kumar, IFS, DCF Surat as Chief Guest; Dr. R. M. Naik, DSW as Guest of Honour and Dr. P. K. Shrivastava, Dean, Forestry.

Hon’ble VC enlightens the gathering by sharing his experience and views on the importance of forests in maintaining our health and life. He congratulated the team of the College of Forestry for organizing such events which connect all of us with nature. 

Dr. Jayesh Pathak briefed about activities organized to celebrate the International day Forests which includes Drawing competition, Quiz competition, phyto-hunt, imagining box etc. Total 21 teams including 84 participants from all colleges of NAU have participated. In the end of the valedictory function, Dr. Minal Tandel gave Vote of thanks.
