Navsari Agricultural University joyously celebrated the 75th Republic Day in the esteemed presence of the Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Dr. Z. P. Patel, accompanied by university officers, faculties, staff, their families, NCC cadets, and students.
During the ceremony, Naib Subedar Santosh Khot, a resident of Sangli District in Maharashtra and serving with distinction in the 9 Maratha Life Infantry, was honored. He has been a dedicated parade trainer for NAU students. Recognizing his unwavering commitment, Mr. Khot received honors for his remarkable 23 years of service to the nation in the Indian Army, during which he actively participated in numerous significant operations.
Additionally, Mr. Imran Shaikh, a gym trainer at NAU, was acknowledged for his outstanding achievement—securing the first position in the 'Men of Steel competition' held in Navsari District. Furthermore, the ceremony witnessed the commendation of NCC cadets by the Hon’ble VC. These cadets were recognized for their exceptional accomplishments across various activities, highlighting their dedication and contributions to the university.
