They visited Banana pseudostem processing unit, Centre of excellence on Post Harvest Technology, Bamboo resource centre, Advance Technology Centre- Soilless Growing System and interacted with faculties & students.
Dr. R. C. Agrawal along with Dr. Z. P. Patel also launched mobile application named “Butting Forestry Science” under NAHEP-CAAST project. This feature loaded App can be used by students/faculties in Formative or Mock test modes and will be available for both Android and iOS platform. Further, it can also be assessed on NAHEP website and will be printed in hard cover too. This app will be available to all users free of cost so that maximum students can benefit from this initiative. Presently the app has 4000 questions from different subjects of Forestry. Later on dignitaries also interacted with PG CAAST students and motivated them to think big.
During the interactive meet Dr. T. R. Ahlawat, DR & Dean PGS and PI & Nodal thanked the World Bank and ICAR, New Delhi for providing this unique opportunity to the students & faculties of NAU, Navsari through the NAHEP-CAAST Sub-project. He also placed on record the encouragement and support received by respected Dr. R. C. Agrawal, the National Director of NAHEP at ICAR, New Delhi and Dr. Anu Agrawal, the National Co-ordinator for CAAST sub-component.
