Shri Raghavjibhai Patel, Hon'ble Minister of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Cow-Breeding and Fisheries visited NAU Navsari and addressed a large gathering of over 300 teachers, agricultural scientists, and students on August 9, 2024.
Hon'ble Minister emphasized his continuous efforts to assist farmers, agricultural universities and livestock keepers through a positive approach. He stated that the infrastructure and human resources of agricultural universities remain a priority and that institutions cannot achieve excellence without dedicated staff. He praised Navsari Agricultural University's achievements in education, research, and extension under the visionary leadership of the Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor and assured prompt resolution of any future issues or concerns.
Hon'ble Minister also visited the newly developed Speed Breeding Facility and the Bamboo Research Centre, expressing his satisfaction with the advancements. He assured that he would soon visit Navsari Agricultural University for two days to thoroughly observe all the activities and centers.
On behalf of all the teaching staff, Dr. Bharat Davda, President of the NAU's Teachers Association, felicitates Hon'ble minister for the approval of long pending CAS of employees. Dr. Mehul Thakkar, as the Master of Ceremony, enchanted the audience with his unique style and stage management.
