Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor Dr. Z. P. Patel visited the Regional Cotton Research Station, Bharuch on December 16, 2022, along with Dr. T. R. Ahlawat, DR; Dr. V. A. Solanki, Member, AC; Dr. D. D. Patel, Principal, CoA, Bharuch; Dr. M. C. Patel, Research Scientist, MCRS, Surat; Dr. Mahendrabhai Patel, Head, KVK, Chasvad and other dignitaries and progressive farmers of Bharuch district. 

Dr. K. V. Vadodariya, Associate Research Scientist & Head, RCRS, Bharuch explained various research activities of the station viz., different National, State and Station trials of cotton carried out under rainfed condition at Bharuch and Seed production programme of different release varieties of cotton as well as Pigeon pea. He also enlightened about various lines of the germplasms collection of different species of cotton and showed the crossing programme carried out in cotton. 

Hon'ble VC appreciated and congratulated the team of RCRS for well-maintained field experiments, seed production programme as well as HDPS (High Density Planting System) technique of cotton growing and gave valuable guidance for the development of farm.
