Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Dr. Z. P. Patel visited Greenhouse complex of ASPEE College of Horticulture, Navsari. During this visit he reviewed different activities on ornamental plants germplasm, Clitoria ternatea, ornamental pot plants, indoor plants and research work on chrysanthemum, gerbera and orchid under protected condition. He appreciated the overall efforts, ornamental plant collection and gave suggestions for releasing new varieties in flower crops and gave emphasis on research for the betterment of the farming community. He suggested to reduce the input costs by using ecofriendly material like bamboo based benching system for greenhouse crops.
