A full day brainstorming session on “Transformation of Agricultural Research in Plant Protection” was organized on July 02, 2024 by the Department of Entomology and Plant Pathology of N. M. College of Agriculture, Navsari in which all the Plant Protection Sub-Committee members of NAU Navsari were invited to discuss recent advances in area of plant protection.
Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor Dr. Z. P. Patel discussed the field of specialization and interest area of work of different members and advised to emphasize on the farmers friendly research. Hon'ble VC motivated the members by quoting “Adapt, Adopt and Refine” for stress free work. He also mentioned that “Scientist should be sensitive to his work and target for timely completion of the task”.
The programme was graced by Dr. T. R. Ahlawat, Director of Research and Dean PGS; Dr. Hemant Sharma, Director of Extension Education; Prof. Jamin Naik, Director of Student’s Welfare; Dr. R. M. Naik, Dean Faculty of Agriculture & Horticulture, and invited faculties of various other departments.
