Director Student Welfare (DSW) Prof. Jaimin R. Naik along with Associate Director of Research Dr. Lalit Mahatma made a surprized visit to the hostel mess of the Horticulture Polytechnic, Paria. Rectors were also accompanied them.

The team, under the leadership of the DSW Prof. Jaimin R. Naik inspected various facilities of the hostel mess, including the food store, vegetable storage section, washing facilities, biodegradable and non-biodegradable waste disposal systems, drainage arrangements and the live kitchen. The cleanliness of the food preparation and serving areas, dining tables, overall ambience, water coolers and other facilities were also reviewed and found to be well managed.

Mess incharge, all rectors and college Principal were also advised to take utmost care in testing the quality of food and raw materials used. They were also instructed to check the same in routine.

The team after visit gave report to Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Dr. R.M. Naik who appreciated the Principal, Rector, and all other staff members involved in the management and smooth functioning of the hostel mess for their efforts in maintaining the facilities and ensuring the well-being of the students.
