Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor Dr. Z. P. Patel presided over the “First Polytechnic Passing Out Ceremony” held on October 05, 2023, at the Central Examination Hall, Navsari. Shri Mansinhbhai Patel, Chairman, Mahuva Pradesh Sahkari Khand Udyog Ltd., Mahuva graced the occasion as the Chief Guest of the function.

Hon'ble VC took the initiative to start the first of its kind 'Passing Out Ceremony for the Polytechnic Students' this year, aiming to uplift the morale and enthusiasm of diploma students.

During this ceremony, a total of 228 students hailing from three faculties (Agriculture - 122, Horticulture - 74, Agricultural Engineering - 32) were bestowed with Diploma certificates. Additionally, six prestigious awards were presented, comprising the coveted Vice-Chancellor's Gold Medal for each faculty, and three generously sponsored gold medals. During the event, dignitaries unveiled 'Elementary Farming,' a book edited & compiled by Dr. K. D. Desai, Principal, Polytechnic in Horticulture, Navsari.
