KVK Navsari hosted the inaugural ceremony of 'Technology Week-2023' and 'World Food Day' in the esteemed presence of Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor Dr. Z. P. Patel on October 16, 2023. The event was graced by Dr. N. M. Chauhan, Director of Extension Education along with other distinguished guests. Dr. K. A. Shah, Senior Scientist and Head of KVK Navsari, extended a warm welcome to the dignitaries and provided an overview of KVK's activities throughout the year.

In his presidential address, Hon'ble VC commended the dedicated efforts of KVK Navsari scientists in disseminating technologies for the betterment of the farming community. He emphasized the need to empower farmers to enhance competitiveness in agriculture.

During the technical session, Dr. B. M. Tandel, Associate Professor provided detailed insights into recent advancements in sapota production. This was followed by Dr. Prabhu Nayaka, Scientist in Plant Protection, engaging in an interactive session with farmers.

A commendable turnout of over 115 farmers actively participated in the events. Dr. Sumit Salunkhe, scientist, KVK Navsari, extended a formal vote of thanks.
