Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor Dr. Z. P. Patel inaugurated the ‘Kathol Pak Parisamvad-cum-Khedut Din’ at College of Agriculture, Bharuch on December 16, 2022, in the presence Dr. J. G. Patel, Member, BoM; Dr. T. R. Ahlawat, DR; Dr. V. A. Solanki, Member, AC; Dr. D. D. Patel, Principal, CoA, Bharuch; Dr. A. D. Raj, Principal, Polytechnic in Agriculture and other dignitaries.

In the Presidential address Hon’ble VC emphasized on the significance of pulses in global food cum nutritional securities. He said, nutritionally legumes are superfood as they are rich in iron, zinc, and prebiotics and contain three times more protein than cereals. He highlighted on the reduction in cost of cultivation for all crops including pluses. He also praised the efforts made by College of Agriculture, Bharuch for developing the facilities at campus and extended goodwill towards farming community and appeal for maximum utilization of technologies developed by NAU.

Dr. D. A. Chauhan, Nodal Officer, Megaseed delivered the expert talk, satisfying the farmers on every aspect of pluses crop production technologies.
